Since its inception in 2006, NCPS has worked with providers in a variety of healthcare settings across Nebraska and western Iowa to raise awareness about patient safety and to provide them with resources that serve to mitigate risk and improve the quality and safety of care.
NCPS conducts aggregate analysis of reported patient safety events to identify patterns and trends. This information is then shared with its members in a variety of educational resources that include best practice recommendations and sources of evidence to support quality improvement efforts. We improve safety when we learn together!
