TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer Workshop July 17 - 18, 2024

Workshop Objectives
1.    Describe the theoretical frameworks and evidence that supports the use of team skills to improve safety culture and achieve high reliability.
2.    Know the team skills that enhance team performance, patient safety, high reliability, and individual resilience. 
3.    Demonstrate/practice the team skills using case studies and teach back. 
4.    Use coaching/conflict resolution and organizational change strategies to implement and sustain team skills in your setting. 
5.    Develop action plans to sustain team skills within your setting.
 

  • Attend both days to become a TeamSTEPPS® Master Trainer
  • If your organization is new to TeamSTEPPS and is ready to implement teamwork as a strategy to improve performance and patient safety, we recommend that at least three individuals become certified as Master Trainers.
